FASHION DESIGNER, BRAND CONSULTANT & RETAIL SPECIALIST. He discovered his passion in designing clothes when he opened a shop at The Podium Mall in January of 2008. He first graced the Runway of the Philippine Fashion Week with his "Swiss Guard of The Vatican City" collection resplendent of the classic and modern renaissance of Rome. Since then, his boutique was later re branded and to this date known as Vatican Fashion Museum. Enduring 8 years in retail trade, off-the-rack curated pieces as well as custom made ensembles, Ulysses King has remain to be the only pioneering designer oriented shop at Markati Palazzo of the Podium Mall in Ortigas City, Philippines

His constant style of old world luxe feel has evolved to a more edgy, carefully engineered yet functional details which are very wearable and timeless. The client base grew over the years of design excellence, now, a broader market has emerged, thus the rise of ready-to-wear line were made available.

Ulysses King, a member of the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines (FDAP), has earned his Certificate in Fashion Merchandising at University of the Arts - London College of Fashion in United Kingdom and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Ateneo Graduate School of Business. A constant appearance with the Bi-Annual Philippine Fashion Week, Ayala Men's Week and as guest designer of SM Menswear Bo' Athletics and mens leather bags for OUR TRIBE. He was recently chosen in 2015 as one of Converse Philippines' brand influencer.

Aside from being a celebrated designer, he has earned his Bachelors Degree in Accountancy from PSBA - Manila and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

These are just some of the long line of credential U'ysses King has in his sleeves, more so, these are the back bone of his Retail Enterprise as the Founding President and Creative Director of Vatican Fashion Museum.

Some of the influential figures that wore or walked for the designer are Philippines top grossing celebrities like Coco Martin, Jake Cuenca, Sam Milby, Enrique Gil, Gerard Anderson, JC de Vera, Rep. Lucy Torres Gomez , Aubrey Miles, Rachel Ann Go, Vina Morales, Julia Montes, Jodi Sta Mria, Paulo Avelino, Alden Richards, John Lloyd Cruz, and others. And for two consecutive years from 2013-2014 he has been the Official Wardrobe Partner for Miss World Philippines and 2015 Miss Republic of the Philippines.

In one of his interview, his personal fashion statement as a fashion designer is: “Fashion is an ‘instrument’ I embraced on my quest to perfection and beauty,” King says when asked about his ideal as a fashion designer.
